Bunyore is a locality in the Vihiga County in the western province of Kenya. It is largely inhabited by Luhya, who speak the OLunyole dialect of the Luhya language. In the local language, the place is known as Ebunyore and its people as the Abanyore (the descendants of Nyore). It is divided into eight locations namely Central Bunyore, West Bunyore, South Bunyore, South-West Bunyore, East Bunyore, North Bunyore, North East Bunyore, and Wekhomo. Prior to 1990, Bunyore was a location under Kakamega District, divided into East and West Bunyore sublocations. As new divisions were created, the former West Bunyore was split into Central, West, South and South West locations while the former East Bunyore was split into North, North East, Wekhomo and East Bunyore locations.

Bunyore is home to the national headquarters of the Church of God in Kenya, Bunyore Girls High School and Kima School of Theology all of which are located at Kima. A significant town in Bunyore is Luanda, Kenya, located on the Kisumu-Busia Highway. Maseno University, in the neighboring Maseno town, is less than 6 miles from Kima.

Angela Malik, (born 3 December 1971) is an Indian chef, entrepreneur and food consultant.

A businesswoman who built a deli business and multi-site Asian cookery school, The Angela Malik School of Food and Wine, Malik originally trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine and gained chef experience at London restaurants Bibendum and Vong.

She is programme director of contract caterers, Gather & Gather and is a member of Les Dames dEscoffier, global network of women leaders and professionals in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality.

In 2017 Malik was appointed to the London Food Board in 2017, advising Mayor Sadiq Khan on food issues across the capital and how to develop a better food system for all Londoners, and helping develop a new London Food Strategy.

Malik was a finalist of the search for a British female chef by the TV show The F-Word on Channel 4. She also won the Daily Mail's 'Best exotic cookery course' for 2007/8. She is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4s The Kitchen Cabinet and has made guest TV appearances on Channel 4s Sunday Brunch, ITV's This Morning and Kirstie Allsopps Homemade Christmas.

William Daum Euler, PC (July 10, 1875 July 15, 1961) was a Canadian parliamentarian.

Born in Conestogo, Ontario, the son of Henry Euler and Catherine Daum, he attended Berlin High School between the years of 1891 and 1893. He then taught in Suddaby Public School and later founded the Euler Business College. Euler married Jean Howd. He was mayor of Berlin, Ontario (now Kitchener) from 1914 to 1917. He was first elected to the House of Commons of Canada in 1917 representing the riding of Waterloo North, Ontario. A Liberal, he held three cabinet positions: Minister of Customs and Excise (1926 to 1927), Minister of National Revenue (1927 to 1930), and Minister of Trade and Commerce (1935 to 1940). He served until 1940, when he was appointed to the Senate representing the senatorial division of Waterloo, Ontario. He died in office in 1961 in Kitchener. He is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Kitchener, Ontario.

As Senator, he waged the campaign to eliminate the ban on margarine in Canada.

In 1961 he became the first Chancellor of Waterloo Lutheran University (now Wilfrid Laurier University).

The Hermitage cats (Russian: ) are a group of cats residing in the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The museum has a press secretary dedicated to the cats, and three people act as caretakers. The cats live in the museum's basement, and they also appear on the embankment and on the square during the summer. In previous eras they roamed throughout the museum galleries.

In 2010, Maria Khaltunen (also "Khaltunin" or "Haltunen"), who directs the museum's cat programme, stated that there were 60 cats on the museum grounds, even though the staff has a joke that officially the museum is only supposed to have 50 cats. Irina Popovets, who became the head of the cat department, stated that the cats were "as well-known as our collections".

In May 2013, the count had grown to 74 cats, of both sexes (but neutered), according to Haltunen. There are kitchens for preparing their food ("they all have different preferences"), and even a small hospital.

As of 2013, donations (a 400-per-month payment from the charity Pro Animale, and the sponsorship of Royal Canin) fund the presence of the cats.

Keleher grew up as an only child in an Italian community in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School in 1992. Keleher earned her BA in Political Science (1996) and her Master's in Psychological Services (1998) from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (2007) from the University of Delaware and received her Master of Business Administration from Strayer University in 2013. She is a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (2009) and is certified in Strategic Decision Making and Risk Management from Stanford University.

US Department of EducationFrom 2007 to 2010, Keleher worked for the United States Department of Education (ED) as a program manager for Puerto Rico Technical Assistance Leader, where she operationalized and executed a strategy for increasing the departments capacity to mitigate risk in the grant portfolio.

Tip McGuire was born in Somers, Wisconsin. He received his bachelor's degree from Marquette University in 2009, and then earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

He got involved with politics shortly after graduation, working as a legislative aide to Assemblymember Peter W. Barca from 2009 through 2014, and as a campaign field organizer for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin in the 2010 and 2012 elections.

After graduating from law school, McGuire was hired as a prosecutor in the office of the Kenosha County District Attorney, and, in 2018, was hired as an Assistant District Attorney in Milwaukee County.

In 2019, Mr. Barca was nominated by Tony Evers to serve as Secretary of Revenue in the newly elected Governor's cabinet. Barca's elevation created a vacancy in the 64th Assembly District, and, on January 22, 2019, McGuire announced that he would run for the open seat.

McGuire defeated Gina Walkington and Spencer Zimmerman in the Democratic Party primary election. He defeated Republican Mark Stalker in the April 30th general election.

McGuire was sworn in on May 13, 2019, by Kenosha County Judge Jodi Meier.

She was elected to Clinton's town council in 1993, and became its reeve later in the decade. She also served on the Huron County council, and was elected as the first reeve of the amalgamated municipality of Central Huron. She was elected as warden of Huron County in 1999 and 2000.

In the 2003 provincial election she ran as the Liberal candidate in the riding of HuronBruce and defeated Progressive Conservative incumbent Helen Johns, a cabinet minister, by about 3,000 votes. On October 23, 2003, she was named parliamentary assistant to Steve Peters, the Ontario Minister of Agriculture and Food. In March 2006, Mitchell was named parliamentary assistant to David Caplan, the Minister of Public Infrastructure Renewal. Upon re-election in the fall of 2007, Mitchell was named Government Caucus Chair and parliamentary assistant to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, with a concentration on Municipal Affairs.

On January 18, 2010, Mitchell was named Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as part of a cabinet shuffle by Premier Dalton McGuinty.

She was defeated by Progressive Conservative candidate Lisa Thompson in the 2011 election.

In 2000, she founded Mental Health First Aid training in Canberra, together with her husband Anthony Jorm, who is a mental health researcher. Mental Health First Aid is a 12-hour face-to-face training program for members of the public to learn how to provide initial assistance to someone developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis (e.g. they are suicidal). This program spread across Australia and by 2011 over 170,000 Australian adults had received the training (1% of the countrys adult population). By 2015, this had reached 350,000. The training has been adapted to various cultural groups in Australia, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Vietnamese Australians and Chinese Australians. The training program has spread to many other countries, including Bangladesh, Bermuda, Canada, China, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Malta, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Pakistan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, the United States and Wales. By the end of 2018, 2.6 million persons had been trained in Mental Health First Aid globally.
